In an audio conferencing, you do not have to worry about the environment, lighting, etc. as the conference call can take place within any set up. The people in the video conference should be in a well-lighted environment so as the video call can be clear to everyone.

Audio and video conferencing has its advantages and disadvantages too. This mode of communication allows users to download free east to use software for easier communication. The participants do not miss out on anything even when they are in a different location from the rest, as they are able to join the conference from any location.

No central location is needed so that the conference can take place, thus saving the participants time and costs of travelling to be in a central place.

One of the cons of this mode of communication is that the connection can be lost during the conference call especially in video calls where the users need to have internet connection. Audio conferencing also requires clear network for users to be able to use the telephone effectively. All participants in this mode of communication will be required to have equipment and tools of quality standard so as to be able to communicate effectively, without any hindrances.

Sometimes, it becomes a challenge to participate in a conferencing especially when there are users with no know how on how to use some gadgets such as microphone, or have others sharing a computer in a video conferencing.
